I believe in developing a trusting relationship to establish a safe space.
My main approaches are EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Mindfulness. Mindfulness invites relaxation into the body while EMDR allows you to process the past without feeling triggered.
Many of our present problems such as low self esteem, relationship challenges, anxiety, and depression have deep roots within our past. EMDR works to address the problem from its root by challenging the negative messages that we have received from childhood and replacing them with new positive truths.
These truths are then integrated into how we view ourselves and the world.
